Job Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities will be to support the Contract Administration Dept. in activities related to government contracting (FAR/DFAR) for defense related shipbuilding supplies and services such as New Construction, Interim Support Planning and Post Delivery activities
Communicate effectively with Program offices and internal and external customers
Draft and review contracts, subcontracts, non-disclosure agreements in accordance with company policies, applicable laws, customer requirements and sound business judgement
Research contractual issues and develop and present recommended approaches for resolution
Monitor the Company's contract compliance where required to support funding and deliveries
Research contractual issues via the internet and other regulatory sources
Periodic travel in support of Contract negotiations and administration
